I am about to release Component Fixations, my first ‘solo’ album (in 33 years of recording).
The album (released on vinyl and digital by Type Records on May 13 2013) features two side long pieces developed between 2008 and 2012.
The album is a synthesis of my interest in the Musique Concrete and Tape Music of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Each piece has been created from environmental recordings made in our home and garden which have been processed by analogue and digital means.
