Two channel sound
Performance commissioned for the Sound Matter project curated by Francisco Lopez.
Focused on the transmutation and re-presentation of sound from a specific location, the piece uses recordings made in the environs of the city of Birmingham as material.
The piece was developed in a workshop with other artists before diffusion on a 4 channel sound system in performance and release on compact disc.
Performed at IKON Eastside, Birmingham (for the event Sound Matter) and VIVID Birmingham Centre for Media Arts, Birmingham.
