A film exploring landscape and the pastoral tradition, and memory.
Super 8mm films from the collection of the artist are re-photographed, processed, layered, and altered in terms of presentation and duration. Through this re-presentation and transmutation of content, the film seeks to explore systems of communication and how they may be used against themselves as a means of opening up new possibilities for change.
Exhibited at De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill (for the event We Can Elude Control) and Theatre Space, Birmingham (for Supersonic festival).
